It has 48 base characters, out of which are 8 singular vowels \u2013 \u3042 [a], \u3044 [i], \u3046 [\u026f], \u3048 [e], \u304a [o].<\/p>\n<p>It is mainly used to write grammatical and functional words like particles, adverbs and names for plants or animals. In appearance, they look curly as they are shaped like English cursive. These words may include names of companies or animals or countries. They are classified as Pictographic, Indicative, and Compound characters. They form words or ideas.<\/p>\n<p>To learn Kanji, you would require four to six weeks in a Japanese learning school.
