Japan is planning to loosen its traditionally strict immigration rules to allow skilled blue collar workers to stay permanently in the country. This proposed change in the immigration rules is to cope with acute labor shortage in Japan.

Embassy of India in Japan along with Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and National Skill Developing Corporation (NSDC) organized a Seminar on TITP (Technical Internship Training Program) with the support of JITCO and other organizations on 28th September 2018 in Nagoya, Japan.

The objective of the Seminar was to promote the potential of India under TITP and also to introduce the 23 accredited Indian Sending Organizations (SO) to Japan. The seminar provided an excellent opportunity for Japanese Supervising Organizations and Implementing Organizations to interact with their Indian Counterparts.

Akal being one of the selected sending organizations under the TITP program participated in this seminar cum networking event and had a very fruitful interaction with the representatives of Japanese Supervising and Implementing organizations under TITP Program.

With its Joint Venture with Tozai Shoko Company of Japan, Akal is proud to announce its entry into the Japanese Job Market and its selection as the “Sending Organization” under the TITP program - an initiative taken by the Indian & Japan Government to send Indian Trainees to Japan, and provide them a platform to acquire industrial & vocational skills as technical intern trainees in companies in Japan for a period of 3-5 years, the aim is to make them utilize such skills for economic and industrial development after their return to the home country.

The Joint Venture, Akal HR Solutions Pvt Ltd. will be the official license holder as a “Sending Organization” from the Government of India to send Indian candidates to Japan under (Technical Intern Training Program) TITP Program.

Considering the needs and education background of Indian candidates, Akal plans to provide an extensive training & job placement program, which will include Japanese language & cultural training in India, Job placement interviews, Visa processing, Air Tickets and one month stipend based pre job training in Japan. Adequate arrangements will be made to ensure a safe and secure work environment for Indian trainees, once they are in Japan.
